A captivating and thought-provoking story about werewolves.
By E.C. Saulness ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 5, 2023
Frank Shepard is a man in his 30s, but he is actually close to 100 years old. He was turned into a werewolf, or Garou, decades ago, and he has been suppressing his inner beast with drugs and chaining himself up during full moons. One day, he helps an old friend by rescuing a teenage girl from a biker gang, but soon after, someone connected to the bikers is found dead, mauled in a way that only a beast could have done.
Frank is unsure if he is responsible, as he has been having vivid wolf-dreams. It soon becomes clear that someone is threatening Frank and those close to him, including the girl he rescued. Saulness’ debut novel dives deep into Frank’s history, with flashbacks to his abusive father and his romance with his late wife. It is a story of a tortured soul, and readers get insight into Frank’s heightened senses and vivid dreams. The tension builds as the villain gets closer to the spotlight, and the narrative wraps up with some questions left unanswered for a potential sequel.Check on Amazon
