Who We Are
At GiftLit we believe good books make great gifts. A book given should stand out and be worth keeping. GiftLit books are special because we rely on literary experts who carefully choose the most beloved books. If a book doesn't meet our standards, you won't find it in our stacks.
Founded in 2006 by two moms who wanted high quality books for their children as well as a means of keeping in touch with loved ones far away, GiftLit seeks to support literacy and the connection books create between friends and family.
GiftLit supports organizations that foster a love of reading. We donate 10% of our profits to organizations that promote literacy through our Partner Program and direct donations. Through our Partner Program, we donate a portion of our revenue directly to schools and libraries.
