Substitutions & Returns

Substitutions:

We encourage substitutions! If you would like to substitute any of the books in an order you have placed go to My Account and click on the View/Change Orders link. To substitute books in a gift you have received enter your Gift Code below:

Returns:

GiftLit wants to make sure you receive only the books you want, so you can return any book that is shipped to you. To return a book use the return label located in the bottom left corner of the packing slip that you received with the book. After removing the return label, place the remaining packing slip in the box with the book you wish to return. Affix the return label to the outside of your returned package and mail it back to the address on the return label, which is 24-17th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94121.

In the event of a return, we will extend your subscription for an additional month. Alternatively if you would like to receive a replacement book immediately, please include a note with the return indicating the title and author of the book that you would like to receive and we will ship the replacement book as soon as your return is processed. Books must be returned within two weeks and be in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Refunds:

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not totally satisfied, please call us to cancel at 800-987-2939. Gift orders can be cancelled (by the gift giver) at any time for a full refund of the unused portion of the gift subscription. Refunds will be credited to the gift giver's credit card. No cash refunds.
