HOW TO ORDER

Ordering with GiftLit is easy and safe. Once you have found the gift you would like to purchase, click on the "Add to Basket" button to place it in your Shopping Basket. Follow the directions through the checkout process to complete your order. Your order will not be placed until the very end of the checkout process, after you have had the chance to review and confirm the order details.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

GiftLit is just starting to offer international shipping. At this time our website cannot accept international shipping addresses. But we can take international orders over the phone at 800-987-2939. Additional shipping costs will vary based on location.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

GiftLit accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept ATM cards with a VISA or MasterCard logo. We do not accept cash, checks or CODs.

SALES TAX

A sales tax of 7.25% is added to all orders shipped to California addresses (8.5% in San Francisco County). Sales tax is not charged on shipments to gift recipients outside California.

ORDER CONFIRMATIONS

After ordering, if you have provided us with your email address, you will receive an email from GiftLit confirming the receipt of your order. You will also receive and email when your gift order ships to your recipient. You will also receive an email you're your gift order ships to your recipient.

GIFT CARDS & BOOKPLATES

To make every GiftLit purchase special, we include a complimentary gift card and set of bookplates - one for each month of your gift. Your gift card will be printed with your personalized gift message. This gift message will be repeated on each month's book package. You can also personalize the bookplates with a special message that will be remembered every time the book is opened. To enter your Gift Message and a separate Bookplate Message, simply follow the instructions during the checkout process.

This unique gift notification package will be mailed after your order is placed and can be sent either to you or directly to your gift recipient.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

GiftLit gift certificates are available in any amount and will not be taxed. Gift certificates are shipped via USPS First Class or sent by email. Go to Gift Certificates to buy one now.

To redeem a gift certificate, select a gift and begin the ordering process. You will be asked for your gift certificate number on the Place Order page during checkout. Even if the amount of your certificate is greater than the amount of your purchase, we'll still need your credit card number to process your order. Simply enter your gift certificate code, and when you're finished, click the Place Order button. The amount of the certificate will then be deducted from your final order total.
